commissions from life size bronzes to miniatures in gold and silver.

the female nude figure which he presents in a modern manner, designed to
portray the poise and confidence of the dynamic young woman of today.

David Geenty
David was born in Blackpool in 1945, but when he was only two years
old, his parents immigrated to South Africa. When David was seventeen he
met and studied under an outstanding South African sculptor, Moses
Kotler. Geenty believes that it was Kotler who most influenced his
formative years and that it is to his tuition that he largely owes his
great animalier talents and techniques. Today Geenty has returned to
England and has his studio in the Cotswolds. |

the Scottish Highlands since 1968. He began modelling for Heredities in

and lifelike with a wonderful movement, unique to Tom's style. |
Jean Spouse
Born in Hartlepool in 1949, Jean Spouse studied design at Lanercost
Craft Centre. Always a keen naturalist, Jean spent many years as a
volunteer worker for RSPB. Jean shows an interest in dogs of almost
every kind, something which becomes very evident in her work, most
notably when you consider some of the pieces she has created for
Heredities. |
Roland Chadwick
Born in 1925, trained in drawing and painting under Bernard Meninsky
and Ruskin Spear, RA at Londons Central School of Arts and Crafts.
Rolands first career was in book design and illustration, during which
time he tried his occasional hand at wood carving. He was forty before
he turned to modelling. A model he was sharing with a sculptor friend
threw a ball of clay at him for fun, from which he sat and made a rough
'sketch' of her, was 'hooked' and gradually turned to full time
professional figure work in clay. Under the spells of Maillol and Rodin,
the nude figure has remained his forte. |

years at London College of Art, specialising, not unnaturally, in design

the Manchester College of Art where she graduated with honours in 1968.

always with a concentration on life-class work. Her human studies,
particularly her chid studies, show a deep perception both of form and
emotion. |
Colin Downes
